Selection Procedure & Examination Stages

  1. Phase-I Preliminary Exam: Online objective test (100 Marks, 100 Questions, 60 Minutes) comprising English Language (30 Qs), Numerical Ability (35 Qs), and Reasoning Ability (35 Qs) with sectional timing of 20 minutes each.
  2. Phase-II Main Exam: Online objective test (200 Marks, 190 Questions, 2 Hours 40 Minutes) comprising General/Financial Awareness (50 Qs), General English (40 Qs), Quantitative Aptitude (50 Qs), and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (50 Qs).
  3. Test of Specified Opted Local Language: Candidates qualifying Phase-II who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet showing they studied the specified opted local language are exempted. Others must qualify the local language test before joining.

Salary Scale & Monthly Emoluments

Pay Scale: Rs. 24050-1340/3-28070-1650/3-33020-2000/4-41020-2340/7-57400-4400/1-61800-2680/1-64480
Gross Monthly Emoluments: Starting Basic Pay is Rs. 26,730/- (Rs. 24,050/- plus two advance increments). Total initial monthly emoluments are approximately Rs. 46,000/- per month in Metro cities plus medical, housing and transport perks as per Bank rules.

  • 2. Fill in basic registration details to generate your Provisional Registration Number and Password.
  • 3. Upload scanned photograph (4.5cm x 3.5cm), signature, left thumb impression, and hand-written declaration in prescribed formats.
  • 4. Fill in academic qualification, circle preferences, and local language option.
  • 5. Pay the application fee of Rs. 750/- (NIL for SC/ST/PwBD) using Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.
  • 6. Download and save the system-generated e-receipt and completed application printout.

What Candidates Should Know

  • Candidates can apply for vacancies in only ONE State/UT. Multiple circle applications are prohibited.
  • There is negative marking of 1/4th of the marks assigned to the question for each wrong answer in both Preliminary and Main exams.
  • There is NO minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects. Aggregate qualifying marks are decided by the Bank.
  • Selected candidates are required to serve a minimum probation period of 6 months.
