1. Age Eligibility Calculation Guidelines

Competitive examination notifications determine minimum and maximum age criteria as of a specific cutoff date (often the 1st of January or 1st of July of the examination year). Candidates must compute completed full years, months, and days against the official cutoff date stated in the advertisement.

2. Photo & Signature Upload Specifications

Most national recruitment portals (such as SSC, UPSC, and IBPS) require candidate photographs and signatures within specific bounds:

• Passport Photograph: 20 KB to 50 KB, JPEG format, 200 × 230 pixels, light background with clear facial visibility.
• Signature: 10 KB to 20 KB, JPEG format, 140 × 60 pixels on plain white paper with black/blue ink.
